Tiny Say's

Hi peeps,I'm Tiny and welcome to my page. This page is gonna be a regular feature on the Red Barons' site so if you have any interesting stories, anicdotes or jokes feel free to email me at southerntiny@aol.com and I will do my upmost to put them in.

First of all,a little about "yours truly",I am 43 years young, have been into the biker lifestyle since I was 18 and am a scruffy fat git. I love rallies and although I do the Stormin' and the Farmyard every year I actually prefer the smaller, more personal ones.Apart from that, you don't have to queue at the bar for too long!Team Sober MCC do a blinder up at Plately Bridge and it is always attended by a bunch of nutters called The Rainriders, they've got some good looking trikes and like Team Sober, party hard. The Celtic Warriors always have a good bash at least twice a year so they'll be worth looking out for.(Watch out for V.Max Mark and Admiral Curly though.)

So,if you see me at any of the venues come and tap me on the shoulder, claim your free cup of tea and demand that I put you, your bike or trike or wife/girlfriend or kids on the website.

The next rally I'll be at will be the East Leeds Lion rally at the end of March. It's a 3 nighter held in Emmerdale country. The beer is cheap, the food hearty and the bogs clean. It's advertised in 100% BIKER so book up and go.I'll see ya there.

Spam......

always detested it with a vengance. In fact,if there was an olympic event in hating it,I would be a gold medallist !That was true until last weekend when I went to the Yorkshire Wings Race Night and camp out in Hirst Courtney near Selby. After drinking numerous pints of guinness and losing vasts amounts of dosh we descended to our tents at about 1a.m Dixie,Barbecue Bill and Bowler Hat started the fire and proceeded to throw large  chunks of spam into the inferno.I reluctantly agreed to try one.Now I dunno if it was
because I was (slightly) drunk, freezin' my goolies off or just the fact that I'm a greedy fat git but I ended up eating 6 spam burgers. They were the best things I have ever
eaten in my life, and believe me,I know all about eating. So to the Yorkshire Wings of The GoldWing Owners Club of Great Britain,I take my hat off to you for giving
me a good night,a good laugh and the shits all day Sunday !
Now onto something very close to my heart.I used to have a pub in Greenwich and one day a guy that I used to work with asked if his band could play there.Until then they had only rehearsed together and didn't even have a name. They ended up getting their name off my belt buckle, stuck up a few posters, set up the gear and the best  covers band(not just my opinion I may add) was up and running.BAD 2 THE BONE
are one of the best rally cum pub bands on the circuit today.Deisel, the lead vocallist and drummer has a voice second to none.Their banner is on this site so have a click
and find out more.

MY FIRST RALLY........

Trying to pack everything onto an XS 250 Special.Suddenly realising that my topbox, although very handy for my courier work was absolute crap for carrying anything to do with camping.I ended up taking it off and built myself a mountain of tent, sleeping bag, clothes and other oddments held on
by one bungee and a piece of string. With this perched unsteadily on my rack Hairy Andy,Alan Young,Bob the Drugs,Micky Spliff,John the Dog and myself left Erith to go on that awe inspiring trek through Dartford tunnel and Essex to our Destination........Dunmow !
The Mad Monks were holding their rally at a pub and I for one was very excited as it was my first real rally. It was pissing down when we got there so we decided to have a drink before putting our tents up.Needless to say when we rolled out of the pub at about 3a.m. we were in no fit state to raise a smile, let alone a few tents. After Hairy Andy walked us all across a cesspit  we decided to sleep in the pub.(Along with around 20 others who had the same brainwave as us.)We spent the whole weekend cold and wet but pissed
and happy.I'm not sure if the Mad Monks are still on the go and if they are  I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for starting me off on a life of festive weekends and hundreds of colds. That is what makes us so different from the "suits".We,on the whole are a generous, social bunch of peeps,we dress different cos we are and always will be.....individuals.I will always be different,my wife and son will be the same.(Hopefully)  I am proud of what I look like as all of you that have the "pleasure" of knowing me remember my jazzys and flip-flops.I still wear 'em,even
in winter.Who gives a toss?I don't !

Now to finish off on a serious note,I know we're all getting older and our bods
aren't what they used to be but imagine how I felt when told by my optician that
I would have to stop playing with myself."Why?" I asked,"will I go blind?"
The optician replied "No,it's just that you're upsetting everyone in the waiting room."

See you all soon, stay safe and keep the rubber side down,TINY.             SOUTHERNtiny
